Day 6 of home learning and today we made a Volcano!
It literally took us about 10-20 minutes to do this whole thing.
We used an old @bistogravyuk tub and some cardboard from a cereal box. Plenty of box tape, as we have loads left over from moving back in January and then we painted it. Scroll for the before pics 👉
We didn't wait for the paint to dry...I know my son too well, once the experiment is done he would want to do something else, he doesn't have the patience to wait for it to dry!! .
Our lava experiment recipe - Water, red paint, bi carb and vinegar. Although you can swap the red paint for ketchup!!
Tip: The Volcano was on a lap tray, as it flows out pretty fast!!
We then watched Volcanoes erupt online!!
Happy 10 minute Crafts 👍
Because casually walking around like this amongst the chaos in this house is ABSOLUTELY normal!!! We moved in 6 weeks ago, we still have tidying up to do but we also are a family as you can see...there is a den out of blankets, toys on the floor and stuff to sort through on the table.
We moved in to a smaller place to save a few pennies.
We have been excited to watch the savings increase, However, since moving in my car broke, the charger for the hoover stopped working, today the steam mop stopped steaming and I've had to fix a bed, a wardrobe, a toy kitchen, TV unit and the boys somehow dented our new table and chairs!🤦🏻♀️ Think it may take a few months to see those pennies we are supposed to be saving 🤣
Meanwhile our 19 month old (I know I can't quite believe he is this big already!!!) Loves to put pyjamas over his clothes. It's a unique habit that is incredibly cute!!
